PROSEPT® Instru is a concentrate for the disinfection and cleaning of medical instruments. The instrument disinfectant contains an innovative combination of active agents based on alkylamines and quaternary ammonium compounds which gives the disinfectant its broad effective spectrum and excellent cleaning power. Blood, saliva, and other fluids rich in protein are removed effectively. Even in the presence of elevated contamination levels, PROSEPT® Instru requires no supplements or cleaning enhancers. Anti-corrosive substances enhance the longevity of instruments. Tests confirmed material compatibility with polyethylene, silicone, iron, steel, and acrylic glass without the risk of discoloration or fixation of blood and proteins on instruments. PROSEPT®Instru can be used in ultrasonic cleaning devices. Easy handling and high dosage accuracy are achieved by means of a specifically designed lid featuring 20 ml volume markings. PROSEPT® Instru is aldehyde- and phenol-free.
